NWC have formalised a new refund policy for the Dealer Service Warranty.
Refund Policy
Dealer Service Warranty customers are entitled to a refund calculated on a pro-rata basis if your vehicle has been stolen, written off or repossessed or traded in.
A Dealer Service Warranty Contract is not refundable for change of mind.
This refund policy does not exclude your right to a refund pursuant to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund in certain circumstances, including if the warranty is not fit for purpose for which it has been sold to you or if the services provided under the warranty are not delivered to you with due care and skill.
How to obtain a refund?
To obtain a refund, you must write to NWC advising you wish to cancel the Warranty Contract. You also need to provide reasonable proof if your vehicle has been stolen, written off or repossessed or traded in.
A cancellation fee of $110 (inclusive of GST) and a deduction for any claims paid may apply.
